SKIN79 Rose Waterfull Mask Review
? Happy Spring, everyone! ?
As it is officially the first day of Spring, I thought it would be appropriate to do a review on one of my (spoiler alert!) FAVORITE floral scented masks– the SKIN79 Rose Waterfull Mask.
I ordered this from Memebox because, at the time, I was dealing with some unusually dry skin due to using a super harsh cleanser. Here’s a little tip: Don’t overuse a 10% benzoyl peroxide cleanser. I had to learn the hard way and ended up with extremely dry cracks around my mouth, chin, and nose. Anyway, I loaded up my cart with a couple of serums and this mask managed to make its way in because anything that has the words “rose” and “water” are definitely up my alley!
Since this is a “sleeping mask”, I applied the mask to my face at the very end of my skincare routine, kept it on overnight, then rinsed it off in the morning. It comes with a spatula to scoop out the product, but since I lost that I use my fingers. The product is exactly as it sounds: it’s rose-scented (not too strong) and it has a slippery gel consistency. When you apply it to your face, it feels like water. You may think this product feels light, but it actually takes a long time to absorb. I oftentimes wake up with my face still feeling a bit sticky, as if the product didn’t fully absorb.
Despite the sticky feeling, the results are incredible. In just one use, the cracks around my mouth completely healed and I ditched my dry patches immediately. I’ve never experienced a product that worked instantly like that. I recommend that you only use this mask as needed. I used this mask 2 nights in a row and ended up breaking out the second night. A little bit of this product goes a long way, so I suggest using a thin layer all over your face, or just apply the mask on your troubled areas.
I hope you enjoyed this review! What masks are you currently using and what are your favorites? Let me know so that I can try them!
Hope you have a wonderful week!
