Beauty Bits • Memebox Haul

Beauty Bits • Memebox Haul

Hi everyone! I recently placed an order on Memebox and thought it would be fun to do a little Memebox Haul.  I’ve been dealing with some problematic skin due to a poor diet and the usual hormonal breakout, so I loaded up lots of skincare bits to keep the breakouts at bay.

I’ve been meaning to order the Lemon Sparkling Peeling Gel for awhile because I remember watching a positive review about it from a YouTuber (Jenn Im, maybe? I’m not sure), but I didn’t get around to ordering it until now.  I’m hoping that the high amounts of Vitamin C will help brighten hyper pigmentation from previous breakouts, as well as my overall complexion.

I’ve been using nose strips to remove blackheads ever since my teen years, so I decided to try something new. I ordered the Pig Nose Clear Blackhead Peeling Massage Gel, thinking it was a peel-off gel (because peeling stuff off my face is so much fun), but it actually instructs you to wash it off.  A bit of a misleading product name, but oh well, I’m excited to try it out anyway!

For spot treatment, I’ve always used the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, but again, I wanted to try something new! I decided to order the Acne Pimple Master Patch by Cosrx. I heard that hydrocolloid was good for reducing acne and these are basically concentrated hydrocolloid pads that come in assorted sizes.  Hopefully this will be an easy and simple solution to spot treating cystic acne.

I was so excited to finally order these next two products as I’ve seen so many reviews and videos about them.  I saw Tati (GlamLifeGuru) review the Hell-Pore Clean Up Mask and at first I thought it looked really painful, but then I realized that I don’t really have sensitive skin, so it most likely wouldn’t be as painful as she made it out to be.  I think this would be a good product to use on the T-zone rather than the whole face.

I’m sure you all have seen plenty of people reviewing the Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask.  It looked like a fun thing to try out, especially if you’re doing a girls night in.  I’m eager to see if it actually works as well as previous clay masks that I’ve used in the past. If it fails, at least my Instagram and Snapchat followers will get a kick out of it! ?

Ever since I balayaged my hair, dry shampoo has been my new best friend.  I decided to switch up my dry shampoo routine and ordered the Dry Water Powder, which is a fine mist that claims to absorb oil in your hair.  Basically this is supposed to be a dry shampoo in liquid form.  I’m not sure how well this will work or what ingredients inside this product are supposed to help absorb oil, but I’ll be sure to follow up with a review!

Have any of you ordered from Memebox and if so, what are your recommendation? I’m a huge lover of asian beauty products, so I’m always looking to try something new! As always, thank you for taking the time to read today’s post. See you in my next one!

  • That carbonated bubble clay mask looks amazing! Also the dry water powder for hair looks so great – the packaging is also sleek and sophisticated! I’ve never heard of Memebox as I’m from the UK but it looks a fab site to shop from! X

    • I tried out the bubble clay mask and it was really fun! I hadn’t tried anything like it before and it surprising worked just as well as any other mask that I’ve used in the past. Memebox is a great site if you’re interested in Asian skincare/beauty products! Thanks for checking out my blog, Sophie! 🙂
