Cold in Copper

The weather in Oklahoma has been a rollercoaster ride lately.  One day would be perfect in the 70’s, the next day would be a little warmer in the 80’s, then a few days later would bring wind, rain, and cold.  My closet is an absolute disaster when it comes to experiencing  4 seasons in 1 week, but hey, that’s Oklahoma!  I really don’t mind the cold weather sticking around though.  As much as I’d like Spring to come and stay, colder seasons are my favorite and there are still so many sweaters I haven’t gotten around to wearing.  Today, I wanted to share an outfit I sported a few days ago when the weather dipped down and it was super cold and rainy.  Enjoy!

Cable Knit Sweater | Versona
Leather Leggings | Ebay
Coat | Forever 21
Booties | Forever 21
Scarf | H&M

I was thrilled to have a reason to break out this eye-catching copper scarf from H&M.  With that being the main focus, I wanted to keep everything else neutral and classic.  I think cable knit sweaters are the most classic kinds of sweaters.  This one from Versona is sleeveless, so you still get the cozy factor without feeling tight in your coat.  The olive coat contrasts beautifully with the copper scarf and the leather bottoms give an overall edge to the whole look while keeping the color palette neutral.

Hope you all are having a wonderful week!
